Friends and Family CPR

Free course, no certification, No written test. However, we recommend manikin practice on infant, child and adult. 1 person CPR and Choking.

Basic First Aid for the Community and Workplace

Individuals who require or desire an elementary first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children or both; including emergency response teams business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personal, child care workers, teachers, parents and babysitters.

Lifeguard Certification – StarGuard

The StarGuard Lifeguard training program consists of a 5 component StarGuard Risk Management Model: prevention strategies, surveillance, response and rescue, emergency care, and workplace environment. The StarGuard curriculum includes; basic lifeguard training and the four key emergency care competencies (first aid, CPR and AED at the professional rescuer level, bloodborne pathogens, and emergency oxygen) all in one highly interactive program. Course can be delivered through blended learning (part on-line and part face-to-face) and designed to help prepare you for successful completion of the required core knowledge and skill objectives.

Bloodborne Pathogens “OSHA Approved”

Any employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infections materials as a result of performing designated job duties, including but not limited to; healthcare workers, public safety personnel, housekeeping, and custodial workers, educational and correctional workers, and designated first aid providers.

We are now doing Fingerprinting Services that can be provided by mobile/on-site or at our Glendale Headquarters. These services are geared for individuals who may need to be fingerprinted for workplace purposes. We have all the needed clearance cards and applications that need to be filled out. Wilderness Survival

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With ASHI’s Wilderness First Aid, Instructors certified to teach CPR/AED, basic first aid, and have wilderness experience can take advantage of ASHI’s flexible instructional design.

This comprehensive 16-20 hour course meets the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid curriculum and guidelines.

Child Care and Baby Sitting (CABS)

The objective of this course is to familiarize and to provide young adults with basic skill training andinformation that is necessary in caring for infants and children. The program is designed for young adults who will be babysitting or providing child and infant care

Course Goal

The goal of this program is to provide information and skill training for young adults that are interested in babysitting. This program should help the participants to meet the challenges of babysitting by building the necessary confidence and skill levels that pertain to child and infant care.

Pet CPR and FIRST AID- Pet

Pet F/a is the immediate care given to an imjure or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until competent veterinary care is available. How to perform CPR on a pet. How to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma after an injury. In addition to the basic emergency care, this program will cover some common illnesses and other problems that your pet may be exposed to. How to approach an injured animal, initial assessment, steps of CPR, injuries to muscles/bines, wound care, soft tissue injuries, birthing difficulties, after birthing, distemper, chocolate poisoning, seizures, choking, canine parvo, and etc. How to induce vomiting, administering medication, general warning signs, what is normal for my pet.
